Greetings to you and thanks for joining this guided meditation
This guided meditation is designed to help you de-stress and relax into a peaceful sleep
Please find a comfortable position whether that’s lying down or sitting upright and take a deep breath in through your nose filling your lungs with air
Hold it for a moment and then slowly exhale through your mouth
As you continue to breathe deeply imagine that you are standing at the entrance of a beautiful garden
You can see the sun setting in the distance casting a warm glow across the landscape
As you take a step forward the scent of fresh flowers fills your nostrils
You can hear the soft chirping of birds in the trees and a gentle breeze brushes against your skin
Walk slowly along the path allowing yourself to fully immerse in the natural beauty around you
Take a moment to pause and notice the colors and shapes of the flowers and the sounds of the birds

As you continue to walk you come across a small pond with a waterfall
The water is crystal clear and shimmers in the evening light
You feel drawn to the water and as you get closer you notice a small boat waiting for you
Climb into the boat and let the current guide you down the gentle stream
As you drift notice any feelings of stress or tension in your body
Acknowledge them and then let them go with each exhale
Imagine them being carried away by the water
The boat carries you further down the stream and you notice that the sun has now set completely
The stars are starting to twinkle above and the moon casts a soft silvery light on the water

Allow yourself to fully surrender to the peacefulness of the scene and let go of any thoughts or worries that are keeping you from feeling fully relaxed
As the boat comes to a stop you start to feel the subtle floating of the boat on the water
Take a moment to notice how you feel in your body and mind
Do you feel lighter? More at ease? It doesnt matter

Take a deep breath in and then exhale slowly knowing that you’ve released any stress or tension that you were holding onto
Drifting gently down the river a soft gentle breeze hugs your body

Now as you drift off to sleep imagine yourself being gently carried by the stream knowing that you are safe and protected
Allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation and let go of any remaining tension
