The Boy was walking alone down the rain-drenched streets wondering about the people around Why do they do all this he thought The child was perplexed by their actions It was like they were stuck in a web and didnt pay attention to the things that were truly important
However they didnt realize it
It seemed as if they were forgetting what sincerity and innocence were they forgot how to have fun A mischievous twinkle in their eyes that was once there now disappeared and the warmth in their hearts ceased It saddened the little one He believed that it was wrong The Boy yearned to hide from all this and leave all the troubles a thousand miles away He wanted to find shelter not from the rain but from the coldness and the worries He often fantasized about a beautiful place where everything was bright and colorful where he would find loyal friends peace and solace compassion and understanding A place of his own where ordinary things were unnecessary and unacceptable but the unordinary and strange things were quite ordinary and normal In the evenings he locked himself in his room and spilled his dreams on paper The little child felt shy and hid his drawings afraid to meet the same usual reactions from the parents: persistent recommendations to do something normal and useful instead of this nonsense His classmates always taunted and mocked him called him odd whenever they saw his pictures
Nevertheless the Child was stubborn didnt surrender kept on dreaming and sincerely believing that someday he would go to that marvelous world He was hoping that someone would come one day and take him there He needed a spark to illuminate the bleak world in which he lived Again and again the dreamy-eyed Child stared intently through the clouds into the twilight sky whispering his cherished wish talking to the stars Only the stillness of the night understood him
One unremarkable spring day the boy as usual roamed along the gray rainy streets immersed in his thoughts Suddenly he heard a quiet sound in the air An obscure distant tinkling appeared out of nowhere It grew louder clearer and seemed to be calling to him The boy caught his name amid the tinkling and with cautious curiosity went in search of the source of the mysterious ringing timidly looking around
