Last night I saw the Angel of Death
walking toward me in a dream.
He raised his scythe as if to reap
my head before I screamed.
He said "Don't be afraid of me.
This ain't the very end.
Don't think this is insanity.

I fell a thousand miles or more
into the fiery Hell
and then I rose into the sky
and heard the mission bell.
St. Peter waited at the gate
and gave the rainbow sign.
He handed me a ticket and
told me to wait in line.
I waited an eternity
and finally saw the Man.
He looked at me so curiously
and asked me who I am.
But I had stood there oh so long
I'd forgot everything.
I even lost track of my name.
The phone began to ring.
I woke up from a full dark sleep
and dizzy in the head.
A voice came to me on the line
and asked if I were dead.

as if the mirror saw me.

and why the hell'd you call me?"
