So we all sat down and you know, we're the close family so we sit down first
And as we sit down my aunt's casket's there

So she's sort of wafting herself with the fan
You know and as she's sort of cooling herself down she starts to sing
And while she's singing she's just singing these sort of hymns
And as she sings them the people who are walking in the place start to sort of respond
So she's gives a little call out, and they respond

But what's really nice about the vibe is that it's all at a really cool pace
Nobody's rushing, nobody's doing anything, the lady's just looking at you singing her song
People behind us are responding
This is building the atmosphere of the church as you walk through the door.
As that starting to go and it sort of raises - it gets louder and louder and louder
The preacher starts to come on and he starts the sermon
A lot of funerals in the US are weird because they have people come up talking about the person that's dead
And this particular funeral there was all preachers
There's about five preachers in the back
Some who sing
Some who preach
Some who sing and preach
And they all go on and on and on
So as these guys start to sort of do their sermon and talk about my aunt
About how her life was and how influential she was to them
That woman would start chirping up again
And everyone in the back would start doing that call and response thing again
And then the choir would kick in and then you get the choir singing a beautiful gospel song
But because these songs are just sort of old gospel tracks
They just make your heart just soar man
It's just such a beautiful sound you know, hearing these people sing
And all organic bro, I like that word organic nowadays
Because it just makes you realise at how real it is when it comes out
No sugar on it, you know none of this sort of
You know, I don't know
TV show stuff, this is what people do
When they're in church
They listen to this music
They sing this music
All coming from the heart
And they believe it
Yeah, that's my aunt's funeral
It was beautiful
And you ask about a show, that was probably the best show I've been to in a long time
Cos it has a lot of connections in it
You know it was nice, it was just nice
