The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who lived with their mother.
One day, their mother said, "You are old enough to build your own houses.
“Now go outside, build your own house, and try living on your own. Be careful of the big bad wolf."
The first little pig quickly built a house of straw.
He gathered the straw and built his house very quickly. "This house is easy to build!" he said happily.
After building his house, he rested comfortably inside.
The second little pig built a house of sticks.
He cut the sticks and built a sturdy house. "This house is stronger than straw," he said proudly.
After finishing his house, he played happily inside.
The third little pig decided to build a house of bricks.
The bricks were heavy and hard to carry, but he worked very hard.
"This house will keep me safe," he said confidently.
After building his house, he slept soundly inside.
One day, the big bad wolf came to the first little pig's house.
The wolf was hungry and wanted to eat the little pig.
"Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" the wolf said.
"No, no, by the hair of my chinny chin chin!" replied the first little pig.
"Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down!" growled the wolf.
The wolf took a deep breath and blew the house down.
The first little pig ran to the second little pig's house.
"Help! The wolf blew my house down!" he cried.
The second little pig let his brother in and locked the door.
The wolf followed and said, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!"
"No, no, by the hair of our chinny chin chins!" replied the little pigs.
"Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down!" shouted the wolf.
The wolf took a deep breath and blew the house down.
The two little pigs ran to the third little pig's house.
"Help! The wolf blew our houses down!" they cried.
The third little pig let his brothers in and locked the door tightly.
The wolf followed them and said, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!"
"No, no, by the hair of our chinny chin chins!" replied the little pigs.
"Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down!" shouted the wolf.
The wolf took a deep breath and blew with all his might, but the brick house did not budge.
The wolf was furious. He took another deep breath and blew even harder, but the brick house stood firm.
The wolf, angry and frustrated, thought to himself, "This isn't working. I'll have to go down the chimney."
The wolf climbed up onto the roof and started to come down the chimney.
But the third little pig was clever and had already started boiling a big pot of water over the fireplace.
When the wolf came down the chimney, he fell into the boiling water and ran away yelping, "Ouch! That’s hot!"
The wolf ran away into the forest and never bothered the little pigs again.
The three little pigs lived happily ever after in their safe, strong brick house.
The first and second little pigs were always grateful for their brother's wisdom and hard work.
The three little pigs lived together happily, always helping and caring for each other.
